Sharing child protection information management system OSCaR with other NGOs

Phnom Penh: The OSCaR (Open-Source Case Management and Record-Keeping) System is a web-based system that enables accurate information gathering and customizable program modeling from a central hub. Child development and program outcomes can be easily monitored, making social work practices, data collection, and data analysis simpler and more reliable. Thanks to CIF’s partnership with Family Care First, OSCaR is available for free to NGOs within Cambodia that are seeking to strengthen families and improve their social work practice. It is also available for a fee to organizations in other countries. In 2023, 35 organizations are using OSCaR in Cambodia.

From September 6–8, 2023, CIF provided an introduction to three international organizations (Global Renewal, Blue Dragon, and First Compassion) who are potentially interested in applying the system. The organizations are currently deciding whether to sign up.
